please define a "r-squared"
glossary FAQ: glossary.

A statistical measure that represents the percentage of a fund or security's movements that can be explained by movements in a benchmark index. For fixed-income securities, the benchmark is the T-bill. For equities, the benchmark is the S&P 500.
R-squared values range from 0 to 100. An R-squared of 100 means that all movements of a security are completely explained by movements in the index. A high R-squared (between 85 and 100) indicates the fund's performance patterns have been in line with the index. A fund with a low R-squared (70 or less) doesn't act much like the index.
A higher R-squared value will indicate a more useful beta figure. For example, if a fund has an R-squared value of close to 100 but has a beta below 1, it is most likely offering higher risk-adjusted returns. A low R-squared means you should ignore the beta. Visit MoneyForex

- Some Background on GCI:
- GCI was established on 2002 as a retail foreign currency exchange server. It is located at Belize.. GCI is regulated by BVI. After starting off a few years ago to a virginal start, GCI's slowly maturing into one of the most prolific platforms in the world.
- Some Specs:
- GCI makes an honest effort to keep you accessible with a customer support line and twenty four seven trading. GCI's presentation is most pleasant. I think I caught my 4 year old daughter stealing glances at it once or twice, and trust me when I tell you, I'm not talking about no foreign exchange savvy here. But for real, you better be able to relate to what ever it is that's going on on your desktop, especially if you want to make any profit, that is.. It makes for a pretty thrilling trade. Although it is a download based platform, it is also terribly fast. Whether you prefer English, Deutsch, French or Spanish, GCI features natural and efficient execution with a multilingual interface. Know, too, that though GCI has a minimum deposit that isn't especially low, (500 dollars - but hey - you gotta start somewhere, right?), If you're still a first time user, GCI's a fairly good pick since it provides an uniquely designed walk-through platform.
- Ups:
- - Quick Download Connection to Server - Beginner Friendly - Dependable Regulator - Comfortable Graphics
- Downs:
- - A Narrow Variability of Currencies - Confusing Options - High Minimum Deposit
- The Short of it:
- This one is a brilliant platform. We all liked it. It's pleasant, accurate and speedy. It's also an excellent way to make some cash. Try it out - you might even enjoy it!
